Hi. My name is Mark Johnson. I'm a professional musician living in Tahoe City, California in the Sierra Nevada Mountains on the northwest corner of spectacular Lake Tahoe.
I'm a lifelong musician. My rock band Presence recorded long ago for Atlantic Records in New York City. We shared the bill with Van Morrison in Boston. Jimi Hendrix came to rock mecca The Scene in The Big Apple to see us. Music has always been a huge part of my life. This new website puts what I love to good use.
On June 26, 2016, our daughter Lauren married lovely Amanda in a picture-perfect ceremony on the shores of Lake Tahoe. To honor these two beautiful brides, I created a wedding song called "White On White" which was played for them at the reception.
I recently decided to start creating additional original songs for those very special weddings where there are two brides, not just one. That's what "White On White" is all about. So why not more?
My goal is to offer never-heard-before songs to these wonderful women to help make their wedding day even more unique. Original songs which reflect who they are... and celebrate it.
